Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Design Manager to lead the design coordination and development of major civil and transportation infrastructure projects across the UAE. The role involves managing multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and driving timely delivery of design packages aligned with local and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and coordinate the design development process across all project phases
– Manage internal and external design teams, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables
– Oversee compliance with UAE regulations, international codes, and client specifications
– Facilitate design reviews, approvals, and stakeholder coordination meetings
– Monitor design progress, manage changes, and mitigate design-related risks
– Collaborate closely with construction, procurement, and project management teams
Requirements:
– 10+ years of experience in design management for civil and transportation projects
– Strong knowledge of road, rail, metro, or airport infrastructure design
– Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams on large-scale projects
– Familiarity with UAE codes, regulations, and permitting processes
– Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field; professional accreditation is an advantage
– Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
