Job Description:
We are seeking a Geotechnical Head to lead geotechnical engineering activities for civil and transportation infrastructure projects in Germany. This leadership role involves managing technical teams, overseeing complex geotechnical investigations, and ensuring innovative and compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide strategic leadership and technical guidance for geotechnical projects in civil and transportation sectors
– Manage and mentor geotechnical engineering teams and specialists
– Oversee site investigations, ground characterization, and risk assessments
– Ensure compliance with German and European geotechnical standards and regulations
– Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on design and construction phases
– Lead client engagement and technical reporting activities
Requirements:
– 12+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering with leadership roles
– Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles, soil mechanics, and foundation design
– Familiarity with German construction codes and transportation infrastructure requirements
– Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering; advanced qualifications preferred
– Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
