Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to support the human resources function within a civil engineering organization in Germany. The role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws specific to the engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
– Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention of engineering and technical staff
– Oversee employee relations, performance appraisal, and career development programs
– Ensure compliance with German labor laws, health & safety regulations, and industry standards
– Coordinate training and professional development initiatives
– Support organizational change management and workforce planning

Requirements:

– 7+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in civil engineering or construction industries
– Strong knowledge of German labor laws and employment regulations
– Experience in recruiting and managing technical and engineering professionals
– Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
– Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certifications (e.g., PHR, CIPD) are a plus
– Fluency in German and English
