Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Hydraulics Engineer to support civil infrastructure projects in Germany, focusing on hydraulic modeling, flood risk management, and water resource engineering. The role involves design, analysis, and technical support to ensure sustainable and effective hydraulic solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and apply hydraulic models for urban drainage, flood protection, and water conveyance systems
– Conduct flood risk assessments and design mitigation measures
– Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on infrastructure planning and design
– Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and regulatory submissions
– Ensure compliance with German and European hydraulic and environmental standards
– Provide technical guidance during construction and operation phases
Requirements:
– 7+ years of experience in hydraulics engineering within civil infrastructure projects
– Strong knowledge of hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, MIKE)
– Familiarity with German water management regulations and European directives
– Degree in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or related field
– Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
