Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Landfill Engineer to lead the design, construction, and monitoring of landfill sites for civil infrastructure projects in Germany. The role focuses on ensuring environmental compliance, structural integrity, and sustainable waste management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and oversee the construction of landfill liners, leachate management, and gas collection systems
– Conduct site assessments and environmental impact studies related to landfill operations
– Ensure compliance with German environmental regulations and EU waste management directives
– Collaborate with environmental engineers, geotechnical experts, and regulatory authorities
– Monitor landfill performance and implement remediation or improvement measures as needed
– Prepare technical reports, permits, and documentation for regulatory submissions
Requirements:
– 7+ years of experience in landfill engineering and waste management projects
– Strong knowledge of landfill design principles, environmental regulations, and best practices
– Familiarity with German and European environmental laws related to waste disposal
– Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
– Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
