Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified Nuclear Expert to provide technical leadership and advisory services for the development of nuclear energy projects in Uganda. The role involves supporting regulatory compliance, safety assessments, and the implementation of best practices in nuclear power generation.
Key Responsibilities:
– Advise on nuclear project planning, design, and regulatory compliance
– Lead safety assessments and risk management for nuclear facilities
– Support development of nuclear infrastructure and operational protocols
– Collaborate with government agencies, international partners, and engineering teams
– Provide training and capacity-building for local personnel in nuclear technologies
– Ensure adherence to international nuclear safety standards and guidelines
Requirements:
– 15+ years of experience in nuclear engineering or related fields
– Proven expertise in nuclear safety, regulatory frameworks, and project management
– Experience working in emerging nuclear markets or developing countries is an advantage
– Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
– Degree in Nuclear Engineering or related discipline; advanced certifications preferred
