Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of a major energy infrastructure project in Tajikistan. The role involves overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring coordination across engineering, procurement, and construction teams, and maintaining compliance with international standards, local regulations, and donor funding requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of the energy project from inception to completion
– Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and consultants
– Monitor project progress against schedule, budget, and quality benchmarks
– Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
– Prepare progress reports and liaise with international stakeholders and funding agencies
– Lead risk management efforts and implement mitigation strategies
Requirements:
– 10+ years of project management experience in the energy or infrastructure sector
– Prior experience managing donor-funded or internationally-financed projects is an asset
– Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
– Proven ability to lead diverse teams in complex environments
– Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills
– Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline; PMP certification preferred
