Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to serve as the Owner’s Engineer for a major energy infrastructure project in Israel. The role will focus on representing the client’s interests throughout the design, procurement, and construction phases, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Act as the primary interface between the client and contractors, ensuring smooth coordination
– Oversee project planning, budgeting, and risk management
– Monitor engineering, procurement, and construction activities to ensure they meet technical and contractual requirements
– Lead stakeholder meetings and provide technical advice to support key decisions
– Review designs, documentation, and contractor submissions
– Ensure HSE standards are upheld throughout project execution
Requirements:
– Minimum 12 years of project management experience in large-scale energy projects
– Previous experience acting as Owner’s Engineer is highly desirable
– Strong understanding of EPC contracts and project delivery models
– Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil preferred)
– Excellent leadership, reporting, and communication skills
– Fluency in English; Hebrew is an advantage
