Job Description:

We are seeking a Principal Marine Structures Engineer to provide technical leadership and expertise for the design, analysis, and construction of marine infrastructure projects in Canada. The role involves managing complex marine structural engineering tasks and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead the design and analysis of marine structures such as docks, wharves, piers, and offshore platforms
– Oversee structural assessments, material selection, and durability studies
– Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including marine, structural, and geotechnical engineers
– Ensure compliance with Canadian codes, standards, and environmental regulations
– Provide technical guidance during construction and inspection phases
– Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities

Requirements:

– 15+ years of experience in marine structural engineering
– Strong knowledge of Canadian marine infrastructure codes and best practices
– Proven experience managing complex marine infrastructure projects
– Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; professional licensure in Canada preferred
– Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
