Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a major metro/rail infrastructure project in Romania. The Project Director will be responsible for overall project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring execution aligns with established time, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of the metro/rail project
– Manage multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors
– Oversee compliance with local regulations, FIDIC contract standards, and EU funding requirements (if applicable)
– Engage with public authorities, international partners, and community stakeholders
– Drive project governance, risk management, and performance monitoring
Requirements:
– 15+ years of relevant experience in large-scale rail or metro infrastructure projects
– Proven track record in project leadership in an international environment
– Familiarity with Romanian/EU transport infrastructure regulations is an advantage
– Strong communication and negotiation skills; fluency in English required, Romanian preferred
