Job Description:
We are seeking a Resident Engineer to oversee on-site construction activities for structural and civil engineering projects across the USA. The role involves ensuring that construction complies with design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
– Supervise daily construction activities and coordinate with contractors and subcontractors
– Ensure compliance with design documents, codes, and safety regulations
– Monitor quality control and resolve technical issues on-site
– Liaise with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution
– Maintain detailed construction records, reports, and documentation
– Conduct site inspections and coordinate testing and commissioning activities
Requirements:
– 7+ years of experience as a Resident Engineer or similar role in civil/structural projects
– Strong knowledge of US construction codes, standards, and regulations
– Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; professional engineering license preferred
– Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work on-site and manage multiple stakeholders
