Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Bridge Lead to oversee the design, review, and delivery of major bridge projects in Calgary, Canada. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and driving project success from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the structural design and engineering of bridge projects
– Manage and mentor bridge engineering teams
– Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities
– Ensure compliance with Canadian bridge design codes and safety standards
– Oversee quality assurance and risk management processes
– Prepare technical documentation and reports for stakeholders
Requirements:
– 12+ years of experience in bridge engineering and project leadership
– Strong knowledge of Canadian bridge design standards and construction practices
– Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; professional engineering licensure in Canada preferred
– Proven leadership and team management skills
– Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
